Day 1

Boston, Massachusetts (Departs 3:00 PM)

New England’s largest city, Boston, Massachusetts, is home to historic sights and modern neighborhoods; stores and restaurants with old-time character; and gracious green spaces as well as a beautiful waterfront.

Day 2

Portland, Maine (7:00 AM - 4:00 PM)

Portland, first settled in 1633, carries the marks of both subsets of Mainers. The restored brick buildings and warehouses of the Old Port and the fine upright houses of prosperous captains, merchants and shipbuilders make the city’s past a living part of its present. Wander through the terrific art museum or take a tour of one of the city’s historic homes. Jump on a ferry or whale-watching boat and get out into the busy harbor.

Day 3

St. John's, New Brunswick (7:00 AM - 2:30 PM)  

Saint John on the southern coast of New Brunswick, is Canada’s oldest incorporated city as well as the only city on the Bay of Fundy. Give your stroll through uptown Saint John a little focus by taking the self-guided Loyalist Trail walking tour, which visits historic attractions like the 1784 Burial Grounds, the 1876 Old City Market, a general store and the Jewish Historical Museum.

Day 4

Halifax, Nova Scotia (8:00 AM - 6:00 PM)

The economic and cultural capital of eastern Canada and a great natural harbor adorned with landmarks like the Citadel fortress, Pier 21 (Canada's Ellis Island), and the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic. Cruise Excursion Highlights: Outside the city, visitors can discover the weather beaten landscape of Nova Scotia's south shore. See craggy coastlines, the bouldered topography of Peggy's Cove, and the German village of Lunenburg, so meticulously restored it has been
designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Corner Brook, Newfoundland (10:00 AM - 11:00 PM)

Corner Brook, a small but bustling city on Newfoundland’s west coast. that started out as a fishing village and later, one of the largest pulp and paper mills in the world was built here. Come explore the beautiful Bay of Islands, charted by Captain James Cook in the late 1700s. The local mountain chain you'll see here is part of the Appalachian Mountains that start in the southern USA and extend this far north. Shore Excursions Highlights: Gros Morne National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is where you will learn about the collision of the continents that formed this land.

Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

Sites within downtown Charlottetown include the lovely Victoria Row, which becomes a pedestrian mall each summer, and other historic buildings, some of which are now museums. Nearby Prince Edward Island National Park is home to white-sand beaches and hiking and biking trails—plus fans can see the house and farm that inspired the beloved book Anne of Green Gables. During your visit, you can also learn about the daily lives, past and present, of residents on lighthouse and boat tours.

Saguenay, Quebec (8:00 AM - 6:00 PM)

Saguenay is also a gateway to whale-watching opportunities along the majestic St. Lawrence River at Tadoussac, where you have the chance to see up to 13 species of whales. Shoppers: Don’t forget to explore La Route des Artisans (Craftsmen Road), home to 90 small local artisans that specialize in different fields, including paper, textiles, glassblowing and ceramics.

Day 11

Quebec City, Quebec (7:00 AM - 8:00 PM) 

The singular image of the city is a hotel surrounded by cannons. Built to evoke a mountain castle, Chateau Frontenac sits atop a cape above the St. Lawrence River. The hotel is part of the city's Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and with all the stone buildings and winding streets, you'll think you're in Europe. Many structures there date back to Quebec City's beginnings, and highlights include Notre Dame des Victoires, the Petit Champlain district, the port, and the Musée de la Civilisation. Shore Excursion Highlights: A Stroll through Old Quebec & Wine Tasting: Take the funicular to Chateau Frontenac. Montmorency Falls & Island of Orleans: A trip through pastoral Quebec to the fierce Montmorency Falls.

Montreal, Quebec (Arrive 7:00 AM)

The cultural capital of Canada, Montreal always seems to show up on "most livable city" lists and has been named a UNESCO City of Design. Cruise travelers can why along the historical streets of Old Montreal, Parc Jean-Drapeau (along the St. Lawrence River), and the cubist residential welter of Habitat 67
